"We miss you, parents"

Sebelum tidur ni, 
jom tanya diri sendiri;

When was the last time I spent a QUALITY TIME with my children? 
When was the last time we were laughing and did silly things together? 
When was the last time we had a heart to heart talk and got emotionally connected to one another? 
When was the last time I listened to my children's disappointment and wiped their tears? 
When was the last time we cuddled each other while watching movies or while sleeping?

Bila? 
Tadi? 
Semalam? 
Dua minggu lepas? 
Atau, tak ingat bila?

If we can recall when was it, 
like baru je tadi we had some beautiful moments together, 
say Alhamdulillah.

Bcoz Allah has given us another opportunity to BE THERE with our children,
and created another good memory with them.

But if we cannot even recall when was the last time we spent good time with them, 
hmm.
Mungkin kita agak terleka dengan tugas lain, 
dan dengan tidak sengaja terrrr-abaikan anak-anak. 😭

So cepat-cepat maafkan diri sendiri, 
beri satu lagi peluang pada diri, 
and promise to be better this time.

Let's get back to our children. 
Let's make them laugh again. 
Let's have some cuddling time again. 
Agar terubat rindu anak-anak terhadap kita,
yang mungkin dah lama dipendam, 
namun. tak terluah oleh mereka selama ini.

Sebab anak-anak--
sentiasa nantikan detik-detik indah itu daripada kita.

So jom malam ni, 
kita sama-sama pasang niat. 
Untuk jadi IBU BAPA mereka "semula". Ibu bapa yang layak memenangi carta hati anak-anak. 
Ibu bapa yang anak-anak akan rindu dan sayang sepenuh jiwa.

Kita pun sebenarnya rindu untuk jadi ibu bapa itu, kan? 😊

So let's! 
Before it's too late. 
Before the children grow up fast, 
become independent, 
and maybe by that time, 
they don't t need anything from us anymore.

WE--
will need them, instead.

Semoga kita sentiasa hargai anak-anak selayaknya, 
sepertimana kita mahu mereka hargai kita satu masa nanti.
